Our first ‘Introduction to Digital Marketing’ free seminar was delivered without a hitch and received a great reception from the 60+ people who attended. It was the first time that our friends at Salty Volt had held such an event and had hosted that many people at their newly opened co-working space near the famous Echo beach in Canggu, Bali.
It was a very diverse and international crowd of expats, digital nomads, holiday stayers and Bali entrepreneurs. The little bit of online marketing that I did to promote the event proved most effective, as many people indicated that they had found out about the event via social media, which was the focused of my marketing efforts.
I began the seminar by introducing myself and explaining my path to where I am now, in a career that didn’t exist some 10 years ago. Then it was straight to business – delivering on my promise to share my insights on the main areas of Digital Marketing - Website, Search, Social Media, Blogging, E-Mail, Display and Mobile, highlighting the common small business mistakes and ways to avoid them.

So what’s next?..
Digital Pollinators are in the process of creating more presentations to continue to educate the small business community, whom seem very hungry for this information. In addition, we are developing more in depth interactive workshops designed for the young guns out there that are looking to get all the skills & experience necessary to kick-start their careers in Digital Marketing, an industry that provides a wealth of opportunity and continued growth.
